Ok, might sound pretty dumb...but here we go: How can I create a slide effect when writing (for example) a bass line on MIDI? ------------------------------- BTW: What's the name of that kind of organ which is played in the beggining of the "Superstitous" song by Steve Wonder? Thanks!

If I understand your second question correctly, he played a Hohner Clavinet C. The D6 replaced the model C, and when I saw him in concert he was playing a customized Clavinet D6.
Damn, you're right! Fine control's almost impossible to achieve. CC's work okay for the occasional effect, though. Well MIDI feature requests abound - some day could be helpful, BTW (though not perfect)
Slide/bend: Recently I have started rendering the midi tracks to audio and doing those techniques on an audio editor where I can draw the curve. Sounds ok, but the real challenge is to make it sound "natural"... I'll try automation, I have done it with wah-wah once, and it pretty handy. Hohner clavinet: I have found this soundfont pack which includes a Hohner Clavinet, I haven't tested it yet (I'm at the office...) but I would like to share it anyway. OH MY GOD HOME RECORDING IS SO MUCH FUN!
