Structure LE and MIDI controller

Structure LE seems to intermittently recognize my oxygen8. i was using it just fine yesterday, then today, i'm having problems again. i do only have 2 USB ports on my mac, so i have to start up ProTools LE with my iLok plugged in, then later when it's open plug in my Oxygen 8. Here's my diagnostic: - Oxygen8 works fine in garage band, so i don't think it's a Mac/Driver issue - in Setup > MIDI > MIDI Studio, i can see the icon for my Oxygen8, and when i hit test MIDI i can hear a ding when i strike the keyboard - in Setup > MIDI > Input Devices, i see it and it's checked: Oxygen 8, Port 1 - in Structure, i have the patch set to channel A1. - have midi thru checked. realize that it was working fine yesterday. i tried resetting ,etc. for a long time it didn't work yesterday, then i realized i had my patch set to A2. today, seems like it's something else. i figure i don't need to worry about the oxygen 8, because when i turn it off, it resets right? to program 1? any suggestions would be great. thanks, bryan

i actually never had any luck plugging in a usb midi controller after protools loads.

got it. i tried restarting ProTools LE a couple times to make sure, looks like i have to go to: File > Preferences > MIDI and Select "Structure 1 Poart A-1" from the pulldown for Default 1 Port A-1. Hope this helps someone else.
